Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and new products for smart home IoT devices within a global, cross-functional team.
- Translate marketing requirements and product vision into detailed technical specifications.
- Participate in requirements analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, software implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Support algorithm porting, optimization, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with quality and test teams on product standards, FCT testing, and FT testing software.
- Work effectively with local and global engineering teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C/C++ and strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience developing applications on RTOS platforms.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, UART, or I2C.
- Preferred knowledge of at least one wireless protocol: Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, or LTE.
- Experience with Linux development, software unit testing, and functional testing is valued.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Test Process Improvement is valued.
- Fluent English reading and writing skills and basic spoken English for global collaboration.
- Strong communication, collaboration, task ownership, adaptability, and ability to learn quickly.
