Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure systems supporting AI workloads on UltraServers, with emphasis on reliability and performance at scale.
- Own the architectural direction of provisioning systems and influence technical decisions across dependent systems.
- Collaborate with capacity management, hardware engineering, and datacenter teams to improve provisioning workflows.
- Mentor and coach engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Investigate complex performance challenges and publish actionable best practices.
- Develop and operate provisioning workflows covering host ingestion, testing, repair, and recovery.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
