Base Salary

$129k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build native client features and components that run across macOS and Windows.
  • Write clean, testable code with unit and UI tests and perform code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs in development and production environments and participate in postmortems.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, security teams, and product teams to integrate platform capabilities.
  • Lead medium-complexity features from design through completion when needed.
  • Share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and model responsible use of AI tooling.
  • Stay current on platform frameworks and security capabilities and work independently on technical approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, master’s degree plus 3 years, PhD plus 0 years, or equivalent related work experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience developing native desktop applications for macOS with Swift and SwiftUI and/or Windows with C# and .NET frameworks including WinForms or WPF.
  • Experience building responsive user interfaces with SwiftUI or UIKit and debugging UI issues using Xcode or other tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs and HTTP integration.
  • Preferred experience with authentication, identity management systems, zero-trust security principles, and security-sensitive or regulated environments.
  • Preferred experience with hardware security features such as TPM and Secure Enclave, cross-platform development, performance optimization, native application debugging, secure credential storage APIs, open-source contributions, mentoring, code reviews, testing, and AI coding assistants.
