Base Salary
$130k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch products with partner engineering teams using Column’s banking stack.
- Act as the technical owner for strategic customers from onboarding through launch.
- Unblock customers on architecture, ledgering, reconciliation, and money-movement edge cases.
- Write production-quality code that accelerates integrations and becomes reusable product functionality.
- Translate customer patterns into improvements to Column’s APIs, documentation, and developer experience.
- Advise customers on building safe, compliant, and resilient financial products in a regulated environment.
- Represent Column with customer executives and engineering leaders while building long-term relationships.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals, ideally with experience in backend systems, APIs, or infrastructure.
- Product-thinking ability to identify underlying customer problems and effective solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including explaining complex systems to engineers and executives.
- Executive presence and confidence leading high-stakes customer conversations.
- Strong project management skills for managing multiple customer engagements.
- Comfort with ambiguity and building processes in a self-starting environment.
- Experience with payments, banking, or financial infrastructure is a plus.
