Base Salary

$158k - $238k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship customer-facing web applications integrating with Fleet Management, Auth, and Core APIs.
  • Design and build REST and gRPC interfaces with clean data contracts and thoughtful versioning.
  • Develop front-end and cloud integrations for the Web-to-Edge platform using scalable database architectures.
  • Build complex, data-heavy React interfaces with effective state management and high-performance rendering.
  • Own major initiatives from design through production and contribute to architectural and technology decisions.
  • Work across unfamiliar parts of the stack as needed to solve problems and deliver features.
  • Collaborate with product managers to translate customer needs into robust software designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code review, pairing, design feedback, and team-wide design reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Deep experience with React, component architecture, state management, and front-end performance optimization.
  • Experience building web applications integrated with backend services, including REST or gRPC APIs, authentication, and real-time data.
  • Experience designing and building production APIs consumed by other applications or clients.
  • Experience scaling web applications for performance, larger data volumes, or growing user bases.
  • Working knowledge of at least one modern backend language such as Go, Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/Node.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, or AWS or Azure equivalents, and modern database architectures.
  • Strong communication, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with willingness to work outside the primary stack.
