Responsibilities
- Operate a robot, following test protocols to verify system performance.
- Test computer vision and perception systems under various conditions.
- Run manual and automated tests to ensure software stability.
- Create detailed bug reports including reproduction steps and logs.
- Analyze test results and generate performance reports.
- Track and document success/failure rates across test scenarios.
- Troubleshoot issues at the hardware-software interface.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Test Technician in Robotics software.
- Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu command-line environments.
- Ability to read, modify, and write Python or Bash scripts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical intuition.
- Well-versed with control loops, perception, and computer vision.
- Experience with root cause analysis and documentation.
- Able to work on-site in Austin, TX.
