Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite, APIs, and Event Mesh.
- Develop inbound, outbound, and bidirectional interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Perform JSON, XML, and IDoc data transformation and mapping based on business requirements.
- Partner with architects, application owners, application teams, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements and non-functional needs.
- Ensure sensitive data flows meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Support integration testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in technical design for interface logic, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Contribute to documentation, design artifacts, operational runbooks, Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and estimation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in SAP or cloud-based integration development.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services including Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, data transformation, JSON, XML, and IDoc.
- Strong understanding of SAP ecosystems including ECC, S/4HANA, and PO/PI.
- Experience with cloud platforms and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment models.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with SAP Extension Suite, CAP, UI5, Node.js, Java, Azure Integration, or hybrid integration architectures.
- Preferred knowledge of event-driven and microservices architectures, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications.
