Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build core Radar ML infrastructure using Python, Rust, Airflow, Spark, and new systems.
- Develop Fraud systems for anomaly detection, user and device risk scores, device fingerprinting, and emerging threat vectors.
- Develop Maps systems for search ranking, address and point-of-interest query classification, learn-to-rank, traffic modeling, and ETA improvement.
- Use AI to ingest address and point-of-interest data from across the web.
- Build Geofencing systems for indoor positioning using mobile device sensors such as BLE, barometers, motion sensors, and Ultra-Wideband.
- Deliver full-stack features across backend, data infrastructure, mobile, and frontend systems.
- Push the capabilities of location services on iOS and Android for systems running on more than 300 million devices.
- Talk with customers and prospects, incorporate feedback into product work, and support customer success.
- Participate in the engineering on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Experience building machine-learning-based products in production at scale.
- Interest in working across ML, backend, data infrastructure, mobile, and frontend stacks rather than focusing exclusively on ML engineering.
- Interest in speaking with customers and prospects and using their feedback to improve products.
- Deep curiosity, tenacity, and willingness to work through difficult technical problems.
- Experience with anomaly detection, indoor positioning, or mapping infrastructure is a bonus.
- Being a former technical co-founder is a bonus.
