Base Salary
$141k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time machine control software for proprietary industrial 3D printing systems.
- Build multithreaded modern C++ applications for motion control, automation, and machine orchestration.
- Develop and maintain GUI applications for machine monitoring, diagnostics, and control.
- Create simulation and modeling tools to validate machine behavior and improve performance and reliability.
- Design calibration routines, fault detection logic, and automated maintenance workflows.
- Integrate software with complex mechatronic and production hardware and support commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Contribute to software architecture, code quality standards, CI/CD workflows, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ and experience developing multithreaded or real-time software applications.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems and familiarity with build systems such as CMake.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and systems-level thinking skills.
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to U.S. export controls.
- Preferred qualifications include GUI development with Qt, OpenCV or computer vision experience, Python scripting, and industrial automation, robotics, or control-systems experience.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of motion control or digital signal processing, electromechanical hardware integration, MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, GitHub Actions, automated testing, and advanced manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or high-performance engineering.
