Base Salary
$169k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define architecture that enables business capabilities across multiple technology or business domains.
- Develop target states, technology roadmaps, architectural patterns, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
- Lead hands-on technology proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate architectural solutions.
- Drive continuous technology transformation and minimize technical debt.
- Partner with Technology and Business leadership to align technology direction with business strategy.
- Analyze industry and technology trends to identify opportunities and assess enterprise impact.
- Provide thought leadership on modern architecture principles and technology modernization.
- Engage senior leaders to establish architecture priorities, secure buy-in, and communicate architectural direction.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering leaders, mentor team members, and strengthen the Architecture organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least 7 additional years of architecture or software engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience.
- 8 to 10 years of architecture experience is identified for the ideal candidate.
- Experience executing complex, large-scale technology strategies and implementing large-scale custom or homegrown platforms.
- Recent experience implementing AI solutions and conducting hands-on technology prototypes.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, and emerging agentic architecture patterns.
- Experience developing technology target states and roadmaps aligned with short- and long-term business goals.
- Extensive experience supporting transformational change and working in an agile operational model.
- Advanced leadership, collaboration, communication, decision-making, and strategic business skills.
- Strong understanding of value creation and business capability models.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred.
