Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust platform changes from proof of concept through production.
- Optimize and automate operational workflows, including infrastructure-as-code and automated testing frameworks.
- Own the stability and high availability of mission-critical payment systems in production.
- Improve platform reliability, alerting capabilities, and monitoring frameworks.
- Partner with teams to implement infrastructure requirements and ensure efficient production operation.
- Share SRE knowledge, mentor colleagues, and strengthen engineering practices.
Requirements
- Strong background in Linux system administration and architecture design, with experience managing highly scalable environments.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and Docker ecosystems and comfort with cloud-native environments.
- Strong knowledge of SRE practices, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing pipelines.
- Ability to write clean, efficient Python or Golang code for automation and technical problem solving.
- Strong problem-solving skills, independent decision-making ability, and ownership of technical topics.
- Curiosity about MLOps is valued; AWS Certified Solutions Architect or CKA certification is advantageous.
