DevOps Engineer
SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD, infrastructure, and deployment automation.
- Own delivery-platform components end-to-end, including scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Build and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM.
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
- Partner with Security to embed DevSecOps controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead incident root-cause analysis and drive long-term reliability improvements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help establish engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or ARM.
- Experience with modern CI/CD tooling including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Linux and Windows administration experience.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or Azure Monitor.
- Experience supporting high-availability production environments.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud certifications, DevSecOps and security automation experience, familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or FedRAMP, platform-engineering or self-service infrastructure experience, and familiarity with AI and AI-integrated tooling.
