Base Salary
$100k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain deployment software infrastructure and backend services, including model training infrastructure, AI developer tools, and metrics dashboards.
- Lead teams developing reliable software systems with robust testing, metrics, and logging mechanisms.
- Write and review code, create documentation and capacity plans, and debug systems on robot hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and guide product and system architecture.
- Participate in an engineering on-call rotation to support system reliability and rapid issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Proficiency developing in Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience configuring and maintaining web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems, and messaging systems.
- Knowledge of Linux fundamentals, memory management, and the kernel.
- Experience learning and working with software, frameworks, and APIs.
- Experience with enterprise security.
- Relevant experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, Linux Administrator, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar.
