Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for a complex, mission-critical logistics application.
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical designs to identify risks and assess testability.
- Create automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests from business scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Use Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, and AssertJ within the existing test automation framework.
- Help transition the automation framework to Playwright with TypeScript and establish modern automation practices.
- Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable and repeatable execution.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, designers, and business stakeholders to improve test coverage and QA processes.
Requirements
- Professional experience in test automation, quality assurance, or software development with hands-on automated testing experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience with Cucumber and Gherkin for behavior-driven test scenarios.
- Understanding of test automation architecture, test data, test environments, synchronization, and maintainable automation design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to understand complex business processes and create effective test scenarios.
- Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an Agile, cross-functional team.
