Responsibilities
- Design and deploy full-stack solutions with intuitive front-end experiences and resilient backend services.
- Build usage-data ingestion pipelines, billing calculations, enterprise dashboards, and customer-facing platform controls.
- Develop large-scale ETL transformations and optimize PySpark jobs for distributed data processing.
- Create backend APIs using RESTful principles and integrate with AWS API Gateway.
- Implement unit and integration testing for data pipelines and billing calculation accuracy using PyTest or similar tools.
- Apply object-oriented design, Python, and infrastructure-as-code practices with CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural whiteboarding, collaborative development workflows, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development engineering experience for the mid-level qualification, or 8+ years for the senior qualification.
- 2+ years of web-framework experience for mid-level candidates, or 5+ years for senior candidates; Python or Java is strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of backend development or data engineering in a cloud environment for mid-level candidates, or 5+ years for senior candidates; AWS experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with algorithmic thinking, distributed data processing, memory management, large-scale ETL, and PySpark optimization.
- Knowledge of API development, AWS API Gateway integration, unit and integration testing, PyTest, object-oriented design, SOLID, modularity, Python, and infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Git, collaborative CI/CD workflows, code reviews, architectural whiteboarding, and technical documentation.
