Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services on performance-testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Analyze client requirements and design tailored performance-testing strategies.
- Develop and execute performance-test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct performance-testing reviews and walkthroughs with client teams.
- Collaborate with clients, development, QA, and operations teams to optimize application performance and implement improvements.
- Provide guidance on code-level optimizations and system configurations.
- Create testing strategies, plans, scripts, reports, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
- Present performance-test findings to clients clearly and understandably.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on performance-testing best practices.
- Stay current on performance-testing trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
- Act as a performance-testing subject matter expert in project meetings and discussions.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in performance testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience designing, developing, and executing performance-test scripts for enterprise applications.
- Experience with LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Ability to analyze performance results and recommend application and system improvements.
- Ability to work with clients and cross-functional development, QA, and operations teams.
