QA Engineer - Core Database (remote)

Responsibilities
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks and develop automated test cases.
- Test new features and ensure they are released smoothly to production.
- Test cross-functional implementations across ClickHouse engineering teams.
- Implement testing strategies and automation for large, complex distributed systems.
- Evaluate ClickHouse functionality for each release and identify opportunities to improve the existing codebase.
- Engineer and improve testing infrastructure for ClickHouse’s open-source and cloud offerings.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of SQL is required.
- Experience in a similar SDET, release engineering, or QA role involving a classical database or distributed system is required.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Go, C++, or another programming language is required.
- Ability to read C++ code for validation is required.
- Working knowledge of Git, Linux, and shell scripting is required.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing is required.
- Strong production debugging, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to learn complex technologies quickly are required.
