Responsibilities
- Design and implement camera features in the Android framework and Qualcomm CamX stack.
- Optimize camera performance and image processing to deliver high-quality output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve camera-feature issues through debugging.
- Run ML models in the camera pipeline on DSP, GPU, and related processing hardware.
- Apply threading and performance-tuning techniques to camera functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience implementing and debugging features with the Qualcomm CamX stack.
- Experience with Android camera APIs, including Camera2 and CameraX.
- Experience with image-processing libraries such as OpenCV and Glide.
- Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as FFmpeg.
- Proficiency in C++; Java experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of Android camera APIs, the CamX stack, threading, and performance tuning.
- Experience running ML models in camera pipelines on DSP and GPU platforms.
- Understanding of camera-tuning concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with ML/AI is an advantage.
