Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on performance engineering initiatives across software applications and services.
- Identify performance risks early and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Establish performance engineering standards, frameworks, best practices, and a performance-by-design culture.
- Build workload models for normal, peak, stress, spike, and endurance scenarios.
- Develop reusable Gatling test frameworks, libraries, automation, scripts, and tooling.
- Analyze Gatling reports and metrics for latency, throughput, error-rate, and resource-utilization issues.
- Define performance objectives, SLAs, response-time targets, throughput requirements, and capacity expectations.
- Partner with development, architecture, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver scalable and reliable applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience building performance automation frameworks and reusable testing utilities.
- Hands-on experience with Gatling, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript for complex performance test simulations.
- Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience analyzing application behavior under load and identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Experience defining performance objectives, service-level expectations, and capacity requirements.
- Strong collaboration, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
