Software Engineer – LabVIEW

Responsibilities
- Develop LabVIEW applications for functional and end-of-line testing.
- Interface with PLCs, instruments, NI DAQ devices, CAN/LIN systems, scanners, and other test equipment.
- Create test sequences, operator interfaces, and diagnostic tools.
- Implement data logging, reports, and product traceability.
- Integrate applications with databases and MES systems where required.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues.
- Support machine validation, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
- Maintain software documentation, source code, and version control.
Requirements
- B.E. or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Typically 3–6+ years of LabVIEW development experience.
- Knowledge of NI DAQ, VISA, TCP/IP, OPC, serial communication, and instrumentation.
- Database and SQL experience preferred.
- Exposure to CAN/LIN automotive communication is beneficial.
- Understanding of automated test systems and industrial machines.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
