Responsibilities
- Build scalable on-premises and cloud solutions for processing high volume of data.
- Develop microservices, abstraction layers, APIs, and platforms.
- Own the services/products you work on, focusing on performance and security.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Promote a Customer-First approach and interact with customers.
- Collaborate across distributed teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building services/products.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and solve problems proactively.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or C/C++.
- Experience with CI/CD environments and automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Background in designing scalable services and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and security technologies.
- Familiarity with data storage technologies like Ceph and NFS.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms.
- Experience building and debugging software on Linux platforms.
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent preferred.
