Responsibilities
- Build session persistence, resumption, hand-over, reasoning-trail retention, and identity- and entitlement-aware context resolution.
- Develop retrieval and grounding across structured records and documents while optimizing cost and latency.
- Build document intelligence for manuals, engineering drawings, certification directives, and contracts with extracted and citable information.
- Develop agentic runtimes for multi-step work, tool use, human escalation decisions, and integrations with business systems.
- Support speech, image, and text inputs as first-class modalities.
- Build an evaluation harness that validates AI output quality and autonomy claims before release.
- Create a language interface for scheduling and optimization engines.
- Implement security controls covering prompt injection, personal data, guardrails, auditing, and data residency.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience personally building or serving as a core builder of live production systems used by real users.
- Experience with service-to-service integration and orchestration using n8n, Temporal, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or Boomi.
- Production backend experience with Go and Python; Go, Java, or similar production experience is expected.
- Experience building and scaling multi-tenant SaaS solutions and AI-native products or applications.
- Experience delivering production-grade GenAI solutions, including RAG pipelines, hybrid retrieval, embeddings, agent orchestration, and tool usage.
- Experience with Pydantic AI, LangChain, MCP, MCP development, and plan-based agentic software development.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CNCF technologies, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Production experience operating API gateways or API products such as Kong or Tyk.
- Experience building or using evaluation frameworks to validate AI output quality before shipping.
- Preferred qualifications include optimizing AI services for latency and cost and experience with specification-driven development.
