Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the component and styles library for Android.
- Collaborate with designers to establish interaction patterns and visual language.
- Support Android engineers in using the component and styles library.
- Develop new tools and explore technologies to enhance collaboration.
- Document how and why components, styles, and patterns are applied.
- Articulate design decisions between design and engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in Android engineering.
- Experience with API and library design.
- Strong understanding of design principles and practices.
- Ability to anticipate system usage by designers and engineers.
- Related BS/MS degree in a relevant field.
- Bonus points for experience with design systems and Swift package library management.
