Base Salary

$166k - $220k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build core command-and-control software for the Lattice platform.
  • Develop software running on vehicles to manage real-time telemetry, health, and autopilot tasks.
  • Develop Ground Control Station software for mission planning, map visualization, fleet management, and autonomous behavior orchestration.
  • Integrate autonomous systems with military radio links and third-party waveforms.
  • Implement link-switching logic for degraded RF environments.
  • Design failure modes for lost-communications scenarios so vehicles act decisively when links drop.
  • Develop and deploy software on physical hardware in real-world environments.
  • Integrate GenAI agents that allow operators to direct autonomous assets through natural-language interfaces.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of production-grade C++ and/or Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
  • Experience integrating autonomous systems with military radio links such as Link 16 and other third-party waveforms.
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases.
  • Preferred background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning for modeling and simulation and physical systems.
  • Preferred experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
  • Preferred experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees.
  • Preferred experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality.
  • Preferred knowledge of distributed communication networks, message standards, military systems, and operational tactics.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
