Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and support Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, primarily Terraform.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and automated deployment processes for infrastructure and applications.
- Create PowerShell scripts and automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks.
- Support Azure virtual machines, networking, backup and recovery, Azure Firewall, and Windows Server environments.
- Monitor infrastructure, logging, availability, performance, and security using Azure-native and third-party tools.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, escalations, and root causes.
- Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, patches, and changes while assessing business and technical impacts.
- Maintain infrastructure architecture documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, deployment standards, and change controls.
- Contribute to Azure cloud operations standards, governance, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with customers, architects, project managers, and technical teams to deliver Azure solutions.
- Act as a technical lead for infrastructure deployments, complex issue resolution, and project delivery activities.
- Communicate technical concepts, risks, progress, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code deployments and management.
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure deployment and support.
- Experience developing Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including YAML pipelines and agent infrastructure.
- Experience with PowerShell automation and orchestration.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Portal, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Git, Windows operating systems, and server administration.
- Knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Desired experience with Bicep, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, Grafana, Splunk, Oracle SQL, SQL Server, Azure Logic Apps, Power Apps, Azure Firewall, Palo Alto, FortiGate, or other enterprise firewall technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot systematically, document technical processes, lead infrastructure delivery activities, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
