Base Salary

$44k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust software components for optical platform solutions.
  • Implement QA and testing protocols to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software with hardware.
  • Debug complex issues to optimize system stability and user experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program and expected to remain enrolled after completing the internship.
  • Pursuing Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with C, C++, Python, or Java through academic, project, or professional work.
  • Previous experience with software QA, unit testing, or debugging procedures.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Linux environments and operating system concepts, computer networking principles and protocols, cloud deployment using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, database management, backend web service development, and software cybersecurity principles.
