Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions addressing national security threats.
  • Contribute to products involving kernel development, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research of network and communication systems.
  • Apply basic software development and scripting skills.
  • Use or learn computer networking, modern software development environments, embedded programming, and software configuration management tools.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
  • Major in or have majored in a STEM field focused on Computer Science, Cyber Security, Cyber Software, or Systems.
  • Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
  • Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and Program Special Access.
  • Preferred: cumulative GPA of at least 3.00/4.0, active security clearance, debugging or system analysis experience, SDLC experience, reverse engineering experience, virtual machine technology familiarity, and experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
