Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure automation solutions across development, test, and production environments.
- Lead the development and enhancement of secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve infrastructure security, monitoring, and vulnerability management capabilities.
- Identify, assess, and remediate security risks across systems, applications, and cloud environments.
- Embed security throughout the software development lifecycle in partnership with engineering, operations, and security teams.
- Support incident response through investigation, analysis, and containment.
- Research emerging threats and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance on security and scalability initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in IT security or a related field; 9 years of related experience may substitute for the degree, and a higher-level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
- Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with NIST and ISO 27001 security frameworks and standards.
- Experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar development, operations, and security role.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud technologies and architectures.
- Experience with secure coding practices and automated security testing tools.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automation scripts and configuration management tools.
- Current Secret U.S. security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for the active security clearance.
- Preferred certifications include ISSEP, CAP, CISM, Security+, CISA, CASP+, CISSP, and MCSE, as well as Linux experience and aerospace or defense industry experience.
