Base Salary

$78k - $86k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software for airborne computers, cockpit mission-data systems, crypto products, and weapon control systems.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team supporting advanced defense and aerospace systems.
  • Apply software engineering concepts, principles, theories, and development processes.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Take on increasing responsibilities and complexity while collaborating with the broader team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, engineering, science, or mathematics.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for access to classified information are required.
  • A current Department of Defense Secret security clearance or above is required due to the nature of the work; a Secret clearance at time of hire is preferred.
  • Strong experience with embedded C/C++ and Linux is preferred.
  • Software development leadership experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, theories, and software development processes is expected.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly and work effectively in collaborative environments.
