Base Salary
$111k - $211k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software tools, flows, methodologies, and automation frameworks for design automation environments.
- Capture internal stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write functional and test code and perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate build and deployment pipelines for tool delivery and updates.
- Support physical design, place-and-route, and DRC verification workflows.
- Administer, deploy, and maintain CAD software and EDA tool infrastructure.
- Develop distributed-computing job management tools to improve resource utilization and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware design, process design, and manufacturing teams and document reusable workflows, templates, and automation components.
- Participate in code reviews and improve software development practices.
Requirements
- Required: Master of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field by the date of hire.
- Required: At least 6 months of experience with Python, Tcl, or C++, Linux environments, version management systems, and EDA tools.
- Preferred: Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
- Preferred: At least 12 months of experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys ICV, Siemens Calibre, physical design, place-and-route scripting, DRC verification, distributed job management, process automation, and CAD software administration and deployment.
