Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain features to improve Postman’s products.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver new features.
- Enhance quality and reliability by improving existing tests and writing new ones.
- Focus on scalability aspects of features and services.
- Work with management on the roadmap and SLAs for owned micro-services.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor others in software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in developing complex, distributed software applications.
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Go.
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Solid Computer Science fundamentals including Algorithms, Networking, and Operating Systems.
- Ability to collaborate and challenge stakeholders respectfully.
- Ability to write testable and maintainable code.
- Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
