Base Salary
$129k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Use Bash, Python, Ruby, or Tcl scripting to automate design tool processes.
- Develop complex tools in languages such as C++.
- Debug tool and design-flow issues for IC designers.
- Provide tool and methodology support and training to engineers across multiple geographies.
- Work directly with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues.
- Apply hardware and software skills to create solutions for ASIC development.
- Develop documentation and training for custom flows and internal tools.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing and debugging software in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment.
- Knowledge of digital logic design and Verilog HDL.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, sorting, recursion, stack overflow, and greedy algorithms.
- Knowledge of static timing analysis and power delivery verification and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering.
- At least 12 years of related experience.
