Base Salary

$129k - $207k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Use Bash, Python, Ruby, or Tcl scripting to automate design tool processes.
  • Develop complex tools in languages such as C++.
  • Debug tool and design-flow issues for IC designers.
  • Provide tool and methodology support and training to engineers across multiple geographies.
  • Work directly with EDA vendors to resolve tool issues.
  • Apply hardware and software skills to create solutions for ASIC development.
  • Develop documentation and training for custom flows and internal tools.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging software in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of digital logic design and Verilog HDL.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, sorting, recursion, stack overflow, and greedy algorithms.
  • Knowledge of static timing analysis and power delivery verification and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering.
  • At least 12 years of related experience.
