Base Salary
$202k - $278k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop systems software and technology roadmaps aligned with product needs.
- Design and develop innovative software solutions for new and legacy systems.
- Decompose complex problems, derive software requirements, and propose feasible solutions.
- Drive hardware-software integration and collaborate on system design for manufacturability, serviceability, and testability.
- Apply design patterns and modular software practices while improving code health, testing, maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to automated continuous integration pipelines for building, testing, and releasing software.
- Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, technical support, and legacy-system refactoring.
- Coach junior architects and own the quality and delivery of their work.
- Collaborate with software, systems, applications, and algorithm engineering teams and support software at customer sites.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with C#, .NET, and C++.
- 10+ years of experience architecting and designing new and legacy systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, C#, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with WCF and WPF.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, state machines, distributed programming, and parallel programming.
- Experience architecting large distributed systems or systems of systems is preferred.
- Experience architecting common software components across products and programs is preferred.
- Experience with complex mechatronic systems and partnering with product or program management teams is preferred.
- Experience with Python, Redis, SQL, and machine learning is preferred.
- Experience with systems software for semiconductor equipment, IoT devices, medical systems, robotics, motion systems, mechatronics, electron optics, calibration, image processing, process automation, wireless, cameras, or sensors is preferred.
