Base Salary

$98k - $127k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions for technical projects within the Cboe Titanium exchange platform.
  • Test solutions independently and in collaboration with the QA team.
  • Participate in reviews of personal solutions and those developed by other engineers.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and support real-time systems emphasizing reliability, testability, recoverability, fault tolerance, throughput, and latency.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with C++ or experience in another programming language combined with a strong desire to learn C++.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Linux or UNIX-like systems and familiarity with a scripting language such as Python.
  • Experience with database systems and familiarity with SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Self-directed and motivated attitude with enthusiasm for continuous learning and constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of financial exchanges and network programming fundamentals is preferred.
