Responsibilities
- Build and own CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, evaluation gates, security and dependency checks, controlled and canary releases, and rollback.
- Manage AWS cloud environments using infrastructure-as-code, including provisioning, networking, secrets, environment parity, and cost controls.
- Own production reliability practices including SLOs, on-call, incident response, capacity planning, cost management, self-healing, and post-incident reviews.
- Build observability and telemetry for agent runs, tool calls, token usage, costs, latency, success metrics, and output quality.
- Establish deployment, observability, and operational standards adopted by other engineering teams.
Requirements
- Require 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering running production systems.
- Require deep experience building and owning production CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Require strong cloud operations experience, ideally AWS, including networking, secrets, provisioning, and cost management with infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform or CDK.
- Require hands-on experience with metrics, logging, distributed tracing, dashboards, alerting, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Require SRE fundamentals including SLOs, incident response, on-call, capacity planning, and blameless postmortems.
- Require enough software fluency to read application code, integrate telemetry, and debug failed deployments.
- Preferred qualifications include production experience operating AI or LLM systems, familiarity with nondeterministic system failure modes, Databricks or lakehouse experience, MCP Container experience, Docker or Kubernetes experience, and experience establishing internal platforms or golden-path deployment patterns.
