Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Work with cybersecurity architecture.
- Assist with Risk Management Framework documentation and controls validation testing for DoD Authorizations to Operate.
- Maintain current Security Technical Implementation Guide versions and migrate existing checklists to updated templates.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to complete STIG templates for network switches, databases, operating systems, and other systems.
- Perform routine and ad-hoc vulnerability scans using ACAS.
- Support development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies.
- Travel CONUS/OCONUS up to 25%.
Requirements
- A STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable TS/SCI U.S. government security clearance before the start date.
- A DoDM 8140.03-compliant certification such as Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of STIGs and RMF, including NIST Special Publication 800-37 and DoD Instruction 8510.01.
- Experience with systems engineering requirements, specifications, DoD and federal assessment and authorization processes, cybersecurity controls, and associated documentation.
- Experience using Tenable Security Center, STIG Viewer, and SCAP Compliance Checker/Tools.
- Preferred familiarity with Linux commands, Docker or Kubernetes, cross-domain solutions, program protection plans, DoDI 5000.02, and DoDI 5200.39.
- Preferred understanding of IT, network, and system security administration for Windows, UNIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco Systems.
- Preferred familiarity with antivirus, vulnerability assessment, HIDS/NIDS, host-based and endpoint security, MFA, SIEM, and centralized auditing resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
