Responsibilities
- Design and discuss solutions for user stories and development tasks.
- Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve enterprise software.
- Perform peer code reviews and participate in functional design, technical design, testing, and deployment activities.
- Apply continuous integration practices including source control management, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management.
- Participate in squad ceremonies, Agile planning, Dev chapter activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, including debugging, production support, and quality assurance.
- Manage task priorities and deliverables while supporting the Product Owner, Analyst, and Scrum Master.
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support applications in line with IT lifecycle standards and technology strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, and the Spring Framework.
- Solid experience with SOAP and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms including JMS and MQ.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Strong understanding of batch processing, application security, and enterprise application architecture.
- Hands-on experience with application servers such as Tomcat or WildFly.
- Experience in end-to-end testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Experience with Camunda or another Business Process Management platform.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and a strong DevOps mindset.
