Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare vehicle measurement data for data-driven modeling approaches.
  • Develop and validate surrogate models for thermal vehicle systems.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative thermal-management controllers.
  • Implement and evaluate machine-learning algorithms in Python.
  • Conduct simulations and analyze and visualize the results.
  • Collaborate with experts in thermal management, control engineering, and AI.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in computer science, data science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field.
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning or data science.
  • Good programming skills in Python, including tools such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch, as well as Agentic Software Development.
  • Interest in reinforcement learning, AI, and data-driven models.
  • Independent and analytical working style.
  • Good English skills.
  • Purely voluntary internships cannot currently be offered.
  • Applicants must provide a CV, motivation letter, enrollment certificate, academic records, and university internship guidelines showing the minimum duration.
  • Non-EU citizens require a valid residence permit.
