Responsibilities

Design scalable, secure, end-to-end software architectures using microservices, event-driven, and API-first models.
Define architectural principles, technical guardrails, technology roadmaps, and build-versus-buy recommendations.
Oversee architecture across the software lifecycle, conduct code reviews, and validate technical solutions.
Mentor engineers, coordinate multi-team execution, and raise engineering standards.
Communicate technical trade-offs involving cost, timelines, and system performance to non-technical stakeholders.
Define legacy migration strategies and incremental modernization plans.
Integrate modern engineering practices including AI-assisted workflows and DevOps.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years dedicated to architectural design and technical leadership.
Advanced knowledge of distributed systems, cloud computing platforms, and data integration.
Deep proficiency in major programming stacks such as C#, Java, and .NET, plus database modeling and API design.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Selenium.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, agile methodologies, and project management tools.
Strong back-end experience with Node.js and TypeScript and front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience participating in peer reviews for native iOS and Android mobile applications.
Required open-source knowledge of MCP Supabase; foundational AI knowledge is ideal.
Preferred experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RESTful API design, and Git.
Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, collaboration, consensus-building, and multitasking skills.
Experience with push notifications, email notifications, PayPal payment gateways, digital media, and deep-linking is a plus.
