- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions.
- Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language while following established standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to understand problems, share feedback, and deliver reliable solutions.
- Document technical solutions and communicate technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally.
- Use approved AI development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation, validating outputs through peer review and automated testing.
- Apply automation and modern tooling across the software development lifecycle to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a fifth-year master’s degree with an expected graduation date between January 2029 and July 2029.
- Study Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, or a related field.
- Demonstrate oral and written fluency in English.
- Have basic knowledge of industry technology trends and best practices and the ability to write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language.
- Demonstrate collaboration, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Be able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and remain accountable for solution quality, correctness, security, and resiliency.
- Preferred qualifications include curiosity about emerging technologies and the ability to work on open-ended or ambiguous software engineering problems.
