Base Salary
$51k - $106k/yr
Responsibilities
- Champion quality during squad ceremonies and ensure defects are understood and prioritized.
- Create test plans and implement squad quality practices using data to drive outcomes.
- Perform automated, exploratory, manual, UI, API, and mobile testing from start to finish.
- Ensure sub-defects are resolved and merge builds run cleanly.
- Ensure post-mortems or root-cause analyses are completed for hotfixes.
- Invest in ongoing professional development and skill-building.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software testing experience in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing tests across front-end UI and APIs.
- Proficiency with languages such as Python or TypeScript and automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium.
- Experience testing iOS or Android applications, including mobile performance, UI nuances, automation, and associated APIs.
- Experience or familiarity with Appium, Detox, React Native tooling, GraphQL, and REST.
- Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving, curiosity, and user focus.
- SaaS experience or a STEM background is preferred.
- Exposure to AI tools such as LLMs, coding assistants, or test data generators is preferred.
- Experience with Scrum and sprint ceremonies is preferred.
