Base Salary
$176k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Scala and gRPC.
- Own features end-to-end from problem definition to implementation.
- Lead large, cross-team initiatives and drive architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Product, Design, Finance, and engineering teams.
- Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and performant.
- Mentor fellow engineers and participate in design and code reviews.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building and scaling backend or full-stack systems.
- Proven ability to take full ownership of technical problems.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to influence partners.
- Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Experience or strong interest in billing, payments, or financial systems.
