Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and verify core Display applications hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement software solutions meeting performance, security, and scalability requirements.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Perform testing and integration on laboratory test benches.
- Create software test cases based on use cases derived from system and software requirements.
- Support functional load deliveries and compliance with certification requirements.
- Travel up to 10% as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with C++ or object-oriented programming.
- At least 5 years of experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- At least 5 years of experience with software architecture and design development.
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking ability.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes embedded C++ coding, embedded systems, multi-core and multi-threaded development, DO-178C, software verification and validation using C++, software configuration management, change management, and familiarity with JIRA, Bitbucket, DOORS NG, and Confluence.
- Candidate must be a U.S. Person under applicable U.S. export control requirements.
