Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend Hazel’s action layer to write back into connected systems.
- Build full-stack product features using TypeScript, React, and Go services.
- Develop AI agent workflows with streaming LLM responses, multi-step tool use, and approvals.
- Build and maintain integrations with Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Amazon, and other systems.
- Create human-in-the-loop scaffolding to make automated actions safe.
- Work directly with founders and customers to ship product improvements.
- Own APIs at scale, including query optimization and schema design.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping an LLM feature to real users.
- Experience owning an API at scale, including query optimization, schema design, and selecting appropriate tools for workloads.
- Strong TypeScript experience.
- Ability to use coding agents effectively and assess where they help or hurt.
- Strong care for product ergonomics and user experience.
- Former or aspiring founder mindset.
- Comfort working without fully specified product requirements and operating with high agency.
