Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for embedded software platforms.
- Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
- Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and validation teams on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Execute tests in SIL, HIL, MIL, and/or VIL environments and analyze results to identify defects.
- Participate in code reviews and enhance test frameworks.
- Document test plans, test cases, procedures, and results according to internal quality standards and requirements.
- Support CI/CD pipelines through automated test integration.
- Mentor engineers and interns on automation practices and tools.
- Lead initiatives and coach junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electronic engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing and testing embedded software.
- Programming experience with C, C++, Python, and Matlab/Simulink.
- Experience with Git and understanding of CAN and Ethernet protocols.
- Advanced English communication skills, including conducting meetings, negotiating, and providing training.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with PyTest, ECU-Test, or similar tools.
- Preferred knowledge of object-oriented programming, RTOS, code best practices, and code standards.
- Preferred experience in the agroindustry or automotive industry, test-driven development, performance testing, and Jenkins.
- Preferred experience applying AI to software engineering, ISTQB certification or equivalent, J1939 and/or UDS, and bug classification, analysis, and fixing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
