Responsibilities
- Translate requirements from business analysts, platform administrators, and technical stakeholders into scalable Service Cloud and Experience Cloud designs.
- Write and review technical specifications for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud sites, integrations, and AI agent or automation solutions.
- Develop and fix complex Salesforce solutions across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, integrations, and declarative automation.
- Design, build, and govern AI-driven agents and automations in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including Agentforce, with attention to accuracy, security, compliance, and business alignment.
- Design Salesforce data models and integrated architectures for a 2,000+ user organization with performance and scalability considerations.
- Apply coding standards, code reviews, testing practices, release management, packaging, and compliance or audit requirements.
- Resolve technical issues involving Salesforce and adjacent platforms such as Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Comp, Gainsight, and Monday.com.
- Mentor and train entry-level and less-senior software engineers on Salesforce development, optimization, testing, and responsible AI-assisted tooling.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external SI/ISV partners, and business stakeholders, and stay current with Salesforce and AI platform releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years building and supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations with hands-on Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud delivery.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification is preferred.
- Advanced Salesforce development knowledge, including Apex, SOQL/SOSL, bulkification, governor-limit-aware design, asynchronous processing, and data optimization.
- Deep Service Cloud experience with case management, Omni-Channel routing, queues, skills-based routing, entitlements, milestones, Knowledge, and preferably Service Cloud Voice or CTI integration.
- Experience building Experience Cloud sites using LWR, Aura, community templates, sharing sets and rules, guest-user security, and partner or customer self-service portals.
- Strong Salesforce data modeling, security, sharing, large-data-volume, integration, Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, external objects, and middleware knowledge.
- Proficiency with Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, Flow, Flow Orchestrator, REST and SOAP APIs, plus working knowledge of Java/J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with Agentforce, Einstein, AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor, including evaluation and validation of AI-generated code and outputs.
- Knowledge of Salesforce release and CI/CD practices using tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX/SFDX pipelines.
- Experience with Apex unit testing, Jest testing for Lightning Web Components, AI-assisted test generation, technical specifications, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in regulated, audited, or compliance-driven release environments is preferred.
