Responsibilities
- Own the runtime, build, deployment, and developer experience platform supporting 250+ micro-frontends and hundreds of engineers.
- Evolve micro-frontend composition, isolation, and shared dependency strategies.
- Drive technical initiatives from idea through production, including planning, estimation, risk identification, and delivery.
- Build shared libraries, platform tooling, and solutions that improve engineering productivity and reliability.
- Develop foundations for autonomous AI coding agents, including instructions, reusable skills, tool integrations, guardrails, and automated checks.
- Work agent-first by delegating implementation while providing architectural direction and verifying outcomes.
- Champion engineering best practices, code quality, documentation, and long-term platform maintainability.
Requirements
- Proven expertise building production frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
- Solid backend knowledge and experience owning and operating Node.js services supporting frontend infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of frontend build tools, bundlers, and module systems.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex performance, reliability, or developer-experience issues in large frontend codebases.
- Experience driving technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and platform-mindset skills.
- Strong documentation skills, including experience writing RFCs or ADRs.
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture, frontend platform engineering, or shared component libraries is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, cloud infrastructure for frontend workloads, observability, reliability, or autonomous AI coding-agent tooling is advantageous.
