Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go.
- Build product features from high-level requirements in collaboration with Product Managers and Designers.
- Own the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, pull requests, and production releases.
- Write and maintain automated tests and contribute to code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in a fully remote environment.
- Identify blockers, seek clarification or support, and contribute to technical discussions and engineering improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in the engineering workflow.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) is mandatory for external candidates.
- Solid production experience building backend systems and APIs.
- Experience working in product-focused engineering teams.
- Understanding of code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
- Experience using AI development tools as part of the engineering workflow.
- Ability to work autonomously with strong problem-solving skills and ownership.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- React experience is preferred for full-stack work.
- Experience in fast-moving product companies, familiarity with Java, .NET, or Kotlin, and collaboration with product and design teams are preferred.
