Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced model optimization pipelines.
- Architect and tune inference runtimes and serving frameworks for optimal performance.
- Guide teams in implementing high-throughput serving strategies.
- Develop benchmarks and performance dashboards to measure system efficiency.
- Evaluate trade-offs across accuracy, performance, and cost for varied hardware environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, MLOps, and product teams for production workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
- Contribute to the development of internal frameworks and playbooks.
Requirements
- Deep practical expertise in model and runtime optimization techniques.
- Proven experience optimizing inference workloads using specific frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in deep learning frameworks with production deployment experience.
- Ability to diagnose and optimize performance using profiling tools.
- Solid understanding of GPU and accelerator architectures.
- Experience designing scalable inference systems across heterogeneous environments.
- Familiarity with observability stacks and cost instrumentation for AI workloads.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams or technical workstreams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
