Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability research, and security design reviews across products, services, and infrastructure.
- Identify security gaps and drive cross-functional mitigations through resolution.
- Develop scalable security tooling, automation, frameworks, and static or dynamic analysis capabilities.
- Communicate security findings and recommendations to engineering and product partners.
- Lead complex security projects from discovery through remediation and serve as a security domain expert.
- Handle security incidents and on-call duties independently.
- Mentor engineers on secure coding, vulnerability classes, and security review methodologies.
- Convert individual security fixes into reusable systemic improvements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and blockers to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of security engineering experience, including vulnerability research, penetration testing, or security assessments of production systems.
- Experience identifying and exploiting common vulnerabilities such as injection, authentication flaws, insecure deserialization, and privilege escalation.
- Experience developing security tooling or automation in general-purpose programming or scripting languages.
- Experience conducting threat modeling and security design reviews for large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience driving security mitigations across cross-functional engineering teams and influencing technical decisions through written proposals and stakeholder alignment.
- Preferred: experience assessing mobile platforms such as iOS or Android or cloud infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience building static or dynamic analysis tools at large engineering organizations.
- Preferred: ongoing AI skill development, including prompt/context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI tools to improve workflows and measurable outcomes.
- Preferred: contributions to the security community through research, vulnerability disclosures, bug bounties, or conference presentations.
- Preferred: experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with exploit mitigation techniques and evaluating their effectiveness in production.
